When did the words change

Certificates of deposit
Known as a CD’s
Will pay higher interest
Not permanently

For music and movies
You purchase CD’s
Go out and buy
As much as you please

When you had a virus
Your doctor you’d see
A computer virus
Wipes out memory

Cookies you eat
Because you love sweets
Computer cookies
Track you without feet

Unwanted emails
Are known as spam
It’s also eaten
Its processed ham

Let’s go surfing
No need for a towel
On the Internet
You can find an old pal

Call on my cell
Refers to a phone
Or cells in your body
The jail cells’ your home

A hot cup of coffee
It's my morning drink
If you're really hot
Someone might wink

When you were happy
You also were gay
Same sex couples
Are now gay today

Whatever you call it
We'll understand
The English language
Can always expand
