Another royal wedding

Much anticipation

Henry and Meghan

A real celebration

The Prince of England

An actress from the USA

They met on a blind date

And had so much to say

A trip to Africa

Sleeping under the stars

Would soon be among

Many of their memoirs

Meghan a divorcee

Her mother is black

But Harry still proposed

Though it caused some flack

She met her prince charming

And he, the love of his life

With blessings from all

To this husband and wife

A war on crime

We live in fear

It’s not a safe place

Therefore, I cannot

Show my face

A shopping mall

It used to be nice

Don’t go there

Take my advice

The anchor stores

No longer are there

But you’ll find a place

That braids your hair

Not far from home

A place where I’d walk

But not since the gangs

Have come to stalk

I feel so confined

In this part of town

Because of the places

I can’t be around

And stores nearby

I won’t go at night

With crime everywhere

There’s no end in sight
