Cruise Ship Employees

On a luxury liner
The service is fine
In the dining room
Every night we dine

The cabin is cleaned
Twice a day
After we leave
When we’ve gone to play

Everyone’s friendly
They all say hello
The employees on top
Plus the ones down below

Most have an accent
They’ve come a long way
On this luxury liner
They’ve chosen to stay

They’ll see their families
Few times a year
They’ve learned to adjust
To a job that’s not near

In need of a job
Cruise lines will hire
Those that seek work
This job they desire

They’re always willing
To do you a favor
And have to be
On their best behavior

A life at sea
For so many days
To serve all of us
Do give them praise
