It must be destiny

Do things happen for a reason
Is something meant to be
What happens in your life
It must be destiny

You didn’t choose your parents
Or any family member
In fact when you were born
You didn’t choose your gender

If you become real smart
If grow very tall
It’s nothing that you did
It’s destiny, that’s all

The color of your skin
The church where you pray
The home where you live
Was destined that way

Will you remain healthy
Will you become sick
It won’t be your decision
Who destiny will pick

But if the life you have
Isn't meant to be
Because you are unhappy
You'll change your destiny

The coices that you have
When you don't like your life
You'll find another job
Leave a husband or a wife

I do not ever question
Why something’s meant to be
I will not try to change it
It’s now my destiny
