Time heals all wounds
I think it’s untrue
And shouldn’t refer
To me and you
Wounds leave scars
On your body and mind
It’s hard to forget
When someone’s unkind
The loss of a leg
An arm or an eye
Can never be healed
It’s obvious why
All wounds won’t heal
With the passage of time
Like torturing those
Who committed no crime
