Did you lie about your age
To eat a senior meal
You said you’re old enough
No money did you steal
Did you lie about your age
You wanted to drink beer
You used a fake ID
In court you might appear
Did you lie about your age
When you were still a teen
Because of an “R” rating
You had to be eighteen
Did you ever say you’re busy
Even when you’re not
That person’s not your type
Who’s put you on the spot
I’d like to challenge anyone
Who says they never lie
That statement in itself
You know, I just don’t buy
I’m not here to criticize
Nor will I condescend
If you lie or tell the truth
It could matter in the end
