Hey there pretty lady

Hey there pretty ladies
*Carrying your cases
Standing on the stairs
With smiles on your faces

Hey there pretty lady
Standing on the stage
*Illuminating letters
It's hard to guess your age

Hey there pretty lady
With a husband who is rich
He wanted someone younger
Many wives he had to ditch

Hey there pretty lady
How lucky that you are
No longer waiting tables
You've become a movie star

Hey there pretty lady
With a crown upon your head
Did you ask one of the judges
To go with you to bed

Hey there pretty ladies
Is it talent that you've got
The others didn’t make it
As attractive were they not

A school for fish

A school of fish
Swimming around
Under the sea
They can be found

No paper and pencils
They’ll look for food
No swim suits required
They all swim nude

No homework or tests
For this school of fish
I’d go to their school
If I had my wish

Wait staff

They'll order their drinks
The specials today
I have to recite them
By heart each day

Three or four tables
And oftentimes more
Whoever I’m serving
I mustn't ignore

I have to be friendly
I lift heavy trays
It’s part of my job
I won’t get a raise

When taking their orders
I do so with ease
A difficult person
I’ll try hard to please

Their meat is too raw
Their soup isn’t hot
I don’t get upset
It happens a lot

More napkins they need
Their drinks I'll refill
I need to wipe up
Whatever they spill

Their table is cleared
And some want coffee
The tray of desserts
They all want to see

My table is leaving
Their bill has been paid
I’m looking to see
How much I made

In fancier restaurants
The tips will be higher
We're all working hard
And would like to retire

Huntwick - Our Retreat

Rockfish, Carrabba’s
And Taipei
As you leave Huntwick
They’re not far away

Doneraki’s
Serves you Fajitas
Even the Outback
Has Margaritas

La Madeline
Has pastry to buy
Campioni’s
Has great pizza pie

Grab a sandwich
At Jason’s Deli
Or put a Subway
In your belly

Early morning
Or late at night
Pancakes at I-Hop
Are quite a delight

Sample the flavors
At Ben and Jerry’s
Cold Stone gives you
Ice cream with cherries

Living in Huntwick
Is our retreat
With great food to eat
Just down the street

As of this year 2008, I've lived in Huntiwck for 20 years.
It's a beautiful subdivision in northwest Houston that's
situated off a major road, FM 1960, however, once you
enter Huntwick, you leave all that behind. Although
Huntwick is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, there's
many restaurants and great shopping right outside the subdivision.

Old motor home

Old motor home
By the roadside
You carried a family
And did so with pride

Crossing the country
On many vacations
National parks
Met their expectations

Surrounded by mountains
Or by the seashore
Wherever they stayed
Was never a bore

Family vacations
Soon came to an end
Summers with friends
Their kids rather spend

Old motor home
With a roof that leaks
And on the road
Everything squeaks

You’re falling apart
You’ve gotten old
They've cast you aside
You couldn’t be sold

Old motor home
On the side of the road
You'll no longer carry
A heavy load

Why go to the beach

Why go to the beach
To get sunburn
Why won't we learn
To put on lotion
While at the ocean
Swim suits reveal
Their sex appeal
The blowing sand
Is out of hand
Bugs will bite
Birds will fight
For our food
Oh how rude
Waves are rough
We’ve had enough
Collect some shells
The dead fish smells
Shake out your towel
We're leaving now
But we’ll return
When we yearn
For the beach

Hello, who's there

Ring, ring, ring
I’ll say hello
Is it someone
Who I know

Friends they’re not
And yet they call
Speaking fast
They never stall

Politicians
Want your vote
So they're calling
To promote

Automatic
No one dials
All these numbers
In their files

Who's that speaking
On the phone
Sounds to me
Just like a clone

Answer questions
You must do
Then she'll get
Some help for you

It's annoying
You may swear
You may cry
But she won't care

Slam the phone
You can't offend
Auto callers
At their end
