You’re behind bars
Confined to death row
For heinous crimes
They won’t let you go
A cell that’s too small
A commode and a sink
Once a week showers
Soon after you’ll stink
Time’s running out
No more appeals
Years spent in jail
Eating horrible meals
You still want to live
I don't know why
You killed someone
But are scared to die
You fought in a war
And lost your leg
Don’t amputate
They heard you beg
A hero they say
Now missing a limb
He's not giving up
He says life's not grim
The Nazi’s took power
In World War 2
What a terrible time
To be a Jew
Beaten and starved
Sent to be gassed
Some of the strong
Were able to last
Families scattered
Most of them died
Some of the lucky
Were able to hide
Those who survived
Did not want to die
To tell their story
They say that’s why
A middle-aged lady
Fighting depression
Does not want to live
It’s her confession
Not able to function
As she had in the past
No friends will call her
She's now an outcast

Nice Jewish Girl
A nice Jewish girl
When I was young
Many Jewish girls
I once was among
When Chanukah came
There’d be no tree
And just a menorah
With candles to see
One or two presents
I would receive
Not one for each night
As some may believe
As I got older
I asked for a tree
And lights on the house
But that wouldn’t be
Exchanging presents
With a non Jewish friend
Enjoying the season
That quickly would end
Christmas carols
Were sung at school
Some schools won’t allow
It’s now the new rule
A gentile boy
I could never date
A Jewish boy
Had to be my mate
It wasn’t until
My much later years
I learned of the Nazis
And had many fears
I learned about Hitler
And what he had done
Killing six million Jews
Most couldn’t outrun
Ann Frank’s diary
Made me upset
Her family in hiding
Being found was a threat
I’m a grown woman
But reluctant to tell
People I’m Jewish
We’re not liked too well
In the suburbs of Houston
It’s been hard to find
Friends that are Jewish
Though I don’t mind
My neighbor is Jewish
How lucky to meet
One Jewish family
On the same street
Suicide bombings
The Arabs will choose
They don’t value life
Plus they hate the Jews
Our President says
There’s a good rapport
With the Israelis
Who he won’t ignore

Tiger Woods has fallen down
Adapted from: “London Bridge is Falling Down” (Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme)
Tiger Woods has fallen down
Fallen down, fallen down
Tiger Woods has fallen down
The golfer who’s renown
A lady said she had an affair
Had an affair, had an affair
A lady said she had an affair
With Tiger, should we care
Things like this are nothing new
Nothing new, nothing new
Things like this are nothing new
Will his wife now say adieu
Tiger Woods should mend his ways
Mend his ways, mend his ways
Tiger Woods should mend his ways
Otherwise big bucks he pays
Tiger Woods they’ll build you up
Build you up, build you up
Tiger Woods they’ll build you up
So you can win another cup

New Years Resolutions
I can hardly believe
It’s two thousand and ten
And new resolutions
I’ve made again
Losing weight
Is priority one
Giving up sweets
I’ve now begun
Getting in shape
Is priority two
A leisurely walk
I know I can do
Spend less money
Cook my own meals
No eating out
With coupon deals
These resolutions
I make every year
I say to myself
So no one can hear
