An unexpected car
trip
With a lady who
transports pets
A three
thousand-mile round trip
And I never had any regrets
From Houston to upstate New York
Tiffany drove all
the way
Bringing her dog
Chappie along
With the transport
dog it would play
That barbecue in
Memphis
We stopped for
local cuisine
Their sauce was
very tasty
And the beef was
thin and lean
It then became a
vacation
With sightseeing
on our return
Visiting the Ark
Encounter
So much we got to
learn
God told Noah to
build the Ark
He needed to flood
the earth
The people had
become too evil
It was time for a
new re-birth
And then it was
off to Hot Springs
The Arlington we
stayed at was old
Perhaps it might
have been haunted
Although we had
not been told
Some shopping and
a Duck Tour
We did earlier in
the day
And the thermal
pools we swam in
Were a perfect
place to stay
An unexpected car
trip
A decision not
hard to make
And many other car
trips

I met Tiffany
Cady, who transports pets for a living, on the Next-door app the end of August
2020
when she was
looking for a Mah Jongg player. Although we hardly knew each other, before
taking
this trip on
September 18, 2020, we got along splendidly for the entire week.
