The right to die
When terminally ill
They will deny
Opponents will ask
Who should die
If this is allowed
Who could apply
A quadriplegic
An amputee
To help them die
Who would agree
Lou Gehrig’s disease
A slow painful death
You can not move
You’ll lose your breath
Maiming our youth
In wars each day
The old and sick
Must live this way
Compassionate death
You won’t feel a thing
Eternal rest
This method will bring
