Signs

There’s no end in sight
With signs everywhere
Many are helpful
Some shouldn’t be there

Road signs and street signs
So we won’t get lost
But plenty of billboards
Should all be tossed

Billboards that advertise
Liquor and beer
Tempting someone
While they try to steer

Train crossing warnings
And stop signs we need
Plus speed limit signs
For those who speed

Gas station signs
When prices are high
We'll find cheaper gas
If there's a supply

Motels and restaurants
Signs everywhere
If tired and hungry
No need to despair

Real estate signs
There's more each day
A hefty mortgage
Some people can't pay

A sign on a pole
They lost their pet
It just wandered off
And isn't home yet

The Zodiac signs
You'll find in a book
Perhaps you have talent
You'll just have to look
