Likes and dislikes

I don’t like the opera
Or the ballet
Or shows where you sit
So far away

I don’t like museums
There’s too much to see
That walking around
Is not for me

I mostly watch movies
At home on TV
Where no one can sit
In front of me

Shopping for bargains
I love to do
But I won’t be going
To the zoo

What's behind the curtain

The red velvet curtain
Soon will rise
The show will begin
It will be a surprise

Curtain call
The actors appear
After the show
The people will cheer

Window curtains
Keep out the light
And conceal you
When it’s night

A gown from curtains
Scarlett once wore
In Gone with the Wind
When she was poor

The iron curtain
No one could see
Was once a threat
To our country

Behind the curtain
A choice to make
Or keep the prize
That’s yours to take
