If you’re fat or thin
If you’re short or tall
Your doggie will love you
And fetch the ball
If you’re black or white
If you’re old or young
You'll be licked
With a slobbering tongue
If you’re sick or sad
Or in a bad mood
You’re doggie won’t mind
If there's plenty of food
Take many long walks
Give lots of attention
Your doggies provides
Much protection
Share your troubles
When you're feeling down
It won't seem as bad
With your doggie around
What better friend
Could you ever find
Be good to your doggie
