I’m begging for food
Though I just ate
Your food looks good
Don’t clean your plate
I eat the same food
Day in and day out
But I get hungry
I can’t do without
You eat different food
I see you plate
I eat the same food
So now I’m irate
You go to restaurants
Italian, Chinese
Bring your leftovers
Home to me please
The doggie bag
Has changed its name
It’s a box to go
This food I can’t claim
Your leftover box
Isn’t hidden from me
You’re eating the food
Where I can see
I’m begging for food
I’d just like to eat
Something brand new
It would be a treat
