If only I had known
My life would be this way
Others wouldn't have mattered
At home more I would stay
I would have paid attention
To both my little boys
And hold them in my arms so tight
And not just buy them toys
If only I had known
They were to grow up fast
I would have been a better mom
We could have had a blast
Memories of their childhood
Are now just very few
I wasted all that time
When there was much to do
Try not to make the same mistake
For only had I known
I would have lived a different life
