We can build mighty towers as high as the clouds
And remove the debris after they've fallen
We can build bridges that span large rivers
And tunnels to go underneath
We can build airplanes to fly remotely
And space shuttles to be reused
We can build monuments to honor the dead
And statues to honor our heroes
We can extend a life buy curing cancer
And create a life in a Petri dish
We have worldwide telephone communication
And worldwide Internet access
We can supply drugs, alcohol and tobacco
To those who want it
And not provide food, clothing and shelter
To those who need it
