Gas stations today
Aren’t like before
Like filling your tank
There was no store
A long time ago
Your car was repaired
A tire was changed
When gas stations cared
Filling your tank
Was part of their task
Plus checking your oil
You never would ask
At stations today
You’ll grab a snack
A subway sandwich
And buy a six pack
But changing a flat
Gas stations don’t do
And windshield washing
It’s now up to you
