I can’t train my dog
My dog has me trained
Did you train your dog
How, please explain
I’ve tried to train him
By giving him treats
He gets them regardless
If he’s bad or he’s sweet
I can’t let him loose
He’ll run down the street
Instead of sitting
Right by my feet
He frightened a policeman
Who threatened to shoot
My loveable watchdog
He’d execute
He’s chewed the molding
On the back door
Protecting the house
This door I ignore
I wish I could train him
He’s now way too old
To do what I want
To do what he’s told
