I’ve gone to watch baseball
The tickets were bought
The ball was hit
And always got caught
For all nine innings
And several hours
When no one scored
They all took showers
What’s the attraction
To this game
When every night
They play the same
What’s the mystery
Or the suspense
They keep catching the ball
What a good defense
Sometimes they might
Have a good night
Scoring home runs
Left and right
The players are rich
They’re paid to have fun
Off to the ballpark
The fans will run
Watching grown men
Playing a game
The game never changes
It’s always the same
If there are women
Who do not agree
They’re baseball fans
They’re not like me
