Don't Feed the Animals

Don’t feed the dog
And don’t feed the cat
The cat will eat mice
The dog’s gotten fat

Don’t feed the horse
He’ll nibble on hay
And don’t feed the snake
I’ll feed him today

Don’t feed the pig
I’ll feed him later
And don’t go near
The alligator

Don’t feed the fish
Too much or they’ll sink
And don’t even think
Of feeding my mink

Don’t feed the tiger
She’s on the prowl
She’ll get her own food
She surely knows how

Don’t feed the chickens
They’re laying eggs
And don’t feed the monkeys
The little one begs

Don’t feed the lion
Alone, in his den
If you can’t remember
I’ll say it again
