Apathetic
They don’t care
They won’t take a stand
They wouldn’t dare
It bothers them
For only a while
Protesting
That’s not their style
Sitting in silence
Don’t overreact
Causing attention
Let’s not attract
Offensive remarks
They’ll do nothing about
That will be wise
Without a doubt
I’ll overreact
I’ll cause a scene
Defending myself
Against those who are mean
