Cars and trucks
Were favorite toys
But never dolls
For little boys
Trucks were smaller
Than the boys
But they’d control
Their little toys
Bending over
On all fours
Pushing trucks
Along the floors
Never further
From their yard
Tonka trucks
Were driven hard
Eighteen wheelers
On the road
Men will drive
Their heavy load
All those trucks
Are long and tall
Unlike trucks
When they were small
No more pushing
With one hand
Engines follow
Their command
Driving down
The interstate
Lacking sleep
So they’re not late
Little trucks
So boys can play
Big trucks keeep
The men away
