A strong economy
Until this crisis came
COVID-19
Now nothing’s the same
Beginning in China
Then spreading world-wide
And in our country
Too many have died
Too many have died
So we were told
To shelter in place
For several weeks
Don’t show your face
A rush to the stores
During this quarantine
The shelves are bare
Sanitizer's aren't seen
Schools are closed
Children are bored
Toilet paper
People will horde
Our country's shut down
No one's traveling
High unemployment
Much suffering
Social isolation
Is now the new norm
No shaking hands
We all must conform
