It's known as pot
It's known as weed
And can be grown
From just a seed
Before it was legal
In more than one state
When caught with too much
Prison could be your fate
Like drinking and driving
When you're smoking weed
Your train of thought
It sure will impede
Some say it helps
Those who are sick
But those buying pot
They should carefully pick
