Old motor home
By the roadside
You carried a family
And did so with pride
Crossing the country
On many vacations
National parks
Met their expectations
Surrounded by mountains
Or by the seashore
Wherever they stayed
Was never a bore
Family vacations
Soon came to an end
Summers with friends
Their kids rather spend
Old motor home
With a roof that leaks
And on the road
Everything squeaks
You’re falling apart
You’ve gotten old
They've cast you aside
You couldn’t be sold
Old motor home
On the side of the road
You'll no longer carry
A heavy load
