A car alarm
A siren blares
I can not sleep
But no one cares
A traffic jam
I’m running late
A meeting missed
They couldn’t wait
The lights went out
The power's gone
A tree fell down
Across my lawn
My favorite show
Or while I read
They’ll interrupt
My help they need
A noisy train
Disrupts my sleep
My sanity
I'd like to keep
