Texas bluebonnets
The state’s wildflower
During the spring
The landscape they shower
They come every year
People can’t wait
Go see them appear
Before it’s too late
Out in the country
On rolling hills
A bluebonnet carpet
Gives people thrills
Other wildflowers
Can not compare
Texas bluebonnets
Have much more flare
